Challenge Home Page	Notes for Challenge Judges   So you have been chosen to set the next challenge, now what do you do? The first thing is relax and enjoy the fact that you have been chosen, dont worry about what comes next you have plenty of time for that. The challenges run from a Tuesday to a Tuesday and last for two weeks You will have been informed sometime after the challenge closed on the Tuesday that you have been chosen, this usually happens before the weekend. You have until the next Tuesday to decide what theme to set for your challenge. It can be as generalised, or restricted, as you like but remember this is a worldwide event and things may not be the same in other countries [not everyone celebrates the 4th of July, I'm a Brit and we lost :) ] OK its Tuesday and you have your theme, now you have to tell everyone. Post your challenge announcement to the photo group and sit back and await the flood of entries. When you post your announcement does not really matter, with the time differences across the world some will see it later than others but the difference is negligible over the expanse of the two week challenge. In your post include a reference to these pages i.e.   www.kenhoyle.co.uk/Challenge It seems to be customary now to acknowledge entries but dont comment any further, you have to remain strictly neutral at this point :) Whether you collect the entries is up to you, I will put them on the web page and you can reference them there. If for some reason I can't keep the webpage updated I will let you know. At the end of the two week period you have to close the challenge. The rules indicate the challenge ends at the hour it was first announced but you have some leeway on this providing its after that time. Post a closing announcement. Again please include a reference to the challenge webpages Now comes the hard part, somehow you have to whittle all those entries down to one choice. How you do it is irrelevant, its your choice. When you have chosen you pass on the challenge baton by an announcement of their name. If you want to announce runners-up at the same time do so. but its not compulsory.  Once again please include a reference to the challenge webpages Thats it! You have completed the challenge. You dont have to explain anything about how you went about the judging task or what it was about the final choice that made you choose it. Now you can start joining in again - posting entries, commenting on other peoples entries and letting someone else worry about the next challenge - until you win it again of course :) Note: If for some reason you are unable to carry out the task of judging then you may choose the theme and hand the rest over to me (KenH).
